Luxembourg's National Lottery has announced that EuroMillions is organising an unprecedented draw this Friday, in addition to its €17 million jackpot, which will create 100 millionaires across Europe.

On Friday 21 January 2021, 100 millionaires are guaranteed across nine countries (including Luxembourg) in this European Millionaire Maker draw.

The last such raffle took place in 2018 and created 25 millionaires in participating countries. This Friday will see a record 100 participants win €1 million each.

Concretely, the winning codes are generated and drawn at random. The raffle takes place in addition to the main draw; this additional chance to win is thus offered free of charge.

For more than 75 years, the entire net result of the National Lottery has been donated, through the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, to charities in the fields of social, cultural, environment, sports-health, and remembrance.
