Inaugurating the 12th Salon de l’Artisanat at Casino2000;

On Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October, the Casino2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains held its first event since the imposition of sanitary restrictions concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 18 months since the worldwide pandemic hit western Europe, Casino200 opened its doors to 50 artisans (jewellery, porcelain, gift ideas, paintings, sculptures, fashion and more).

On Saturday morning, the 2-day event was officially opening by Luxembourg's Minister for Tourism and Minister for the Middle Classes, Lex Delles (who was Mayor of Mondorf-les-Bains from 2014-2018) cut the ribbon at the inauguration ceremony alongside Guido Berghmans, Director General of Casino2000.

This year's Salon de l’Artisanat was its 12th edition and also included a number of workshops and demonstrations over the two days. The event was held indoors, mainly in the large Chapito function hall, under CovidCheck.
