The Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) has announced that it is hosting the second edition of its job fair exclusively dedicated to jobs in the Private Equity and Venture Capital (PE / VC) sectors on Thursday 7 October 2021.
The “Career Adventure Day” will take place online and will feature job vacancies from LPEA members.
The LPEA created this initiative to bring the recruitment teams of its members, face to face with candidates wishing to work in PE / VC or already working in the sector but willing to pursue other opportunities. Candidates can directly contact the different recruitment teams through the platform and participate in the discussion panels that will be held throughout the day with experts and guest speakers around the following subjects: front-office and C-level recruitment, how to ace the recruitment process, diversity, inclusion and equality in the workplace and success stories from the LPEA community.
The first edition of the Career Adventure Day welcomed 250 participants from over 25 countries. It also attracted a majority of candidates with some prior experience (62%).
According to Stephane Pesch, CEO of LPEA, “Private Equity is a very attractive asset class these days. It comes with job profiles different from those required by other areas of the financial centre. For that reason we need to seek candidates with different profiles, often coming from outside of Luxembourg or willing to go through dedicated training which LPEA already launched too”.
The LPEA expects the number of participants to match the rising demand for PE / VC profiles.
Registrations to the job fair remain open and are free of charge for candidates.
