The National Literature Centre (Centre national de littérature - CNL) has announced that it is organising, in cooperation with the Mierscher Lieshaus (Mersch reading house), its traditional "Summerdag vun der Literatur" (summer day of literature) at the CNL park in Mersch on Sunday 18 July 2021.
On the programme are readings, talks, music and a summer atmosphere. In the morning, Yorick Schmit, Marina Fonseca, Lisa Junius, Margret Steckel, Friederike Migneco, Anne-Marie Reuter, Elise Schmit, Jeff Schinker, Joseph Kayser and Francis Kirps will read from their recent, partly unpublished works. The CNL will also present its new "Tier und Mensch" (Animal and Man) audiobook with texts by Marie-Henriette Steil from the 1920s, whilst Claudine Muno plays songs from her new CD "Are you still listening?"
