This year's Veterans Day ceremony will be held at the Luxembourg American Military Cemetery & Memorial in Luxembourg-Hamm on Monday 11 November 2019 at 11:00.

Organised by the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) and supported this year by the U.S. Air Force Base in Spangdahlem, Germany, Veterans Day 2019 will feature guest speaker Rear Admiral Matthew A. Zirkle, Chief of Staff, U.S. Naval Forces Europe/U.S. Naval Forces Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet.

Commenting on the ceremony, U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg, Randolph J. Evans, said: “As we approach the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, we will gather to honour the veterans, past and present, of the United States of America and give thanks for their service. We will gather as a united community with a common purpose – to remember the past in order to secure a peaceful future”.

The ceremony is open to the public and will begin promptly at at the Luxembourg American Military Cemetery in Val du Scheid - Hamm at 11:00.
