The tourist information centre for the Mullerthal region has announced various activities for autumn and winter 2019, including the recent opening of an ice rink in Beaufort.

Ice Park Beaufort
The ice skating season started at Ice Park Beaufort on Saturday 26 October 2019 with a family day and disco on ice. The covered ice rink is open during all weather conditions for those wishing to skate. More information is available on the website www.beaufort.lu.
 
Beaufort Castle
In addition, the medieval fortress and Renaissance castle of Beaufort will be open during the All Saints' break, up until Sunday 3 November 2019. Guided tours of the castle are available for groups on request during the winter months. More information is available at www.beaufortcastles.com.
 
Hiking
For those wishing to hike, routes 1, 2 and 3 of the Mullerthal Trail will remain accessible during the winter months. The regional hiking map including the Mullerthal Trail is available for purchase (€4) at all tourist offices. Those wishing to hike the Mullerthal Trail in stages will find information in the Pocket Guide. 
 
Aquatower Berdorf
The Aquatower in Berdorf is also open until the end of October from Tuesday until Sunday, from 14:00-18:00, but is closed on 1 November 2019. From 2-30 November, the tower is open from Thursday until Sunday, from 14:00-17:00. From 1-29 December, the Aquatower is only open for groups upon request.
 
Documentation centre about the Hopping Procession
The documentation centre about the Hopping Procession (Sprangprëssessioun) in Echternach is open on 1 and 2 November from 14:00-17:00, but is closed on 3 and 10 November 2019. From 10-15 November, the centre is open from 10:00-12:00 and from 14:00-17:00. From 16 November 2019 until 22 March 2020, the centre is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 14:00-17:00.  During the Christmas holidays, the opening times are every day from 14:00-17:00 (from 21 December 2019 until 5 January 2020). Admission is free.
 
Musée Tudor Rosport
This interactive museum about electricity is dedicated to the inventor of lead batteries Henri Owen Tudor. In November and December, the museum is open from Wednesday until Sunday, from 14:00-18:00. Children and young people up to 21 years old have free admission.
 
In addition, the region will host various events, such as the Haupeschfest Berdorf (dedicated to Saint Hubert, patron saint of hunting) on the weekend of 9-10 November 2019 and the Christmas markets at Heringer Millen from Friday 6 December (from 17:00) until Sunday 8 December 2019, in Moersdorf on 7 and 8 December and in Echternach from 13-15 December (see www.weihnacht.lu). The "Mëllerdaller Souvenirs X-Mas Package" will also be on sale via the tourist centre's online shop (http://www.mullerthal.lu/fr/shop); the package includes a breakfast platter, tea towel and Rusty mug, along with souvenirs from the Mullerthal region.
