PMI Luxembourg Chapter will be holding the event "Writing a Press Release" on 9 October 2018 at Intrasoft International from 18:00-19:30.
Writing an official announcement to present an organisation’s event or issue towards its members or the media and consequently the general public is not an easy task. This type of writing is like a news story and it must follow a particular structure. Nevertheless, this mean of communication is a crucial part of the marketing and social media strategy of every organisation, one that can create awareness and positive feedback.
The purpose of the PMI Luxembourg "Writing a Press Release" event is thus to help participants learn and discuss the technicalities and best practices for writing press releases and also apply lessons learned. This workshop is specifically oriented towards the needs and peculiarities of releases of a non-for-profit organisation, and particularly PMIs.
The event is intended to members and non-members who wish to support the communication efforts of the PMI Luxembourg Chapter and attendance is limited to 6 (on a first come first served basis). PDUs are offered to PMI members.
