More than 50 tennis enthusiasts gathered at Tennis Club Bonnevoie last Thursday to take part in the first Women in Business (WIB) Tennis Challenge.
Known for their sporting performances in Luxembourg and abroad, Anne Kremer and Claudine Schaul, professional tennis players from 1998-2014 and 2002-2012 respectively, sponsored this first edition of this tennis tournament for businesswomen.
Organised by the coaches of Tennis Club Bonnevoie, this CovidCheck event allowed experienced players to compete in an original tournament and beginners to follow cardio-tennis coaching.
The sporting event ended with an aperitif dinner and an award ceremony for the winners of the different categories. The profits of the evening will be donated to the Catch a Smile non-profit organisation and the Dr Elvire Engel Foundation.
The next meetings are scheduled for 15 October and 19 November 2021 for WIB Get Together lunches, reserved exclusively for members, and a “WIB Blind Test Music” evening on 9 December 2021 to close the season.
