The BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open tennis tournament, on the WTA calendar, is being played in the CK sportcentre in Kockelscheuer from 11 to 19 September 2021.

On Tuesday 24 September 2021, the organisers announced a number of names that would be participating in this year's event, including 24 year-old Olympic medalist Belinda Bencic (CH), who will be appearing at the Luxembourg event for the first time.

Other players, who have played here before, and who will be returning this year, include Jelena Ostapenko (LAT), the 2019 champion; Elise Mertens (BEL), the current world no.1 in doubles; Andrea Petkovic (GER), the former world no.9 and winner of 7 WTA titles; Alison Van Uytvanck (BEL), winner of 4 WTA titles; and Misaki Doi (JPN), the 2015 champion.

The organisers also announced that a wildcard for the main draw has been given to Mandy Minella (LUX).
