On Thursday 3 April 2025, Vodafone Group announced that it has unified its Procurement Company and Voice and Roaming Services divisions in Luxembourg under a new brand, Vodafone Procure & Connect; the move is designed to simplify and enhance the service to its customers.

According to the press release, the Vodafone Procurement Company has been recognised as a leader in delivering exceptional procurement value. It manages an annual spend of €19 billion for Vodafone’s operating companies, Partner Markets, joint ventures and third party companies, working with 8,000 global suppliers. Vodafone Voice and Roaming Services is one of the world's leading global providers of services enabling mobile customers to roam onto other networks, and businesses and individuals to make and receive voice calls across international borders. It collaborates with over 700 mobile network partners. The company manages over €1.5 billion in roaming and voice trading volume annually, and 25 billion voice minutes.

This strategic transformation will create a single, trusted partner for procurement, logistics, voice and roaming services, based in Luxembourg, that will support both Vodafone and third party customers. Vodafone Procure & Connect’s product and services portfolio includes:

• managed procurement services, which provide expertise and digital tools to ensure competitive costs, enhanced efficiency, and which leverage data insights to enable smart decisions;

• Design-to-Cost, a tailored cost engineering programme for companies buying hardware, software and services, delivering cost insights and value optimisation with a further focus on risk and sustainability management;

• sponsored roaming, offering instant access to Vodafone’s global roaming footprint, thereby providing mobile operators with full roaming coverage for their customers;

• managed roaming to provide comprehensive management of a customer's roaming platforms and services, allowing them to improve revenues and achieve cost efficiencies

• international voice and international packet exchange services, to facilitate the secure, cost-effective exchange of voice, data, and messaging traffic between mobile operators leveraging advanced fraud protection; and

• maritime mobility, providing hybrid communication systems for vessels through near-shore 4G/5G broadband.
