Telecommunications operator Tango today reported that it has successfully used the mobile job recruitment application Kliber for the post of Senior Communication Officer at the company.
Tango has been using the application, which allows candidates to apply for positions via video on their phones, since 1 October 2015 and have since received several applications for the job.
"We believe that Kliber is a big plus for Tango's recruitment service and we are excited to test the platform for a position in comunication and marketing, a position for which we are seeking a creative, dynamic and communicative candidate," commented Marketing Director of Tango, Luis Camara. "Certainly being afraid to register would not be a good sign for working in such a a profession. We communicated via our social-digital networks on the opportunity of a vacant position and put a fairly connected video on Kliber. Our video has already been viewed by more than 200 people".
"We have already received several applications via Kliber," continued Director of Human Resources at Tango, Sandra Sidon. "I am surprised by the originality of certain candidates, candid0taes who have been able to market themselves in a very creative way, but who have also responded with commitment to our questions. We invite all people interested in this position to apply via Kliber, it helps us to select people for an interview. The choice becomes much easier when you have, from the first selection phase, an idea of the personality of the candidate. Commitment is very important to us and lending yourself to the game by participating in one of these little videos is the first step allowing us to sense the real motivation of the candidate for the position in question".
Kliber was co-founded by Nathalie Dondelinger and Jonathan Levi as an innovative job recruitment tool, and has been available to download from the App Store in Luxembourg, France, Belgium and Germancy since 1 July 2015. The video recruitment app means that companies can look at an individual's candidature by video and a CV profile, allowing for a more personal first impression compared with standard paper or e-mail CVs.
"A person who is older than me, but did not hesitate to apply via the mobile application, was able to convince us through her motivation and her personality," said co-founder Nathalier Dondelinger, who herself found her latest recruit through Kliber. "And last but not least, her answers to my four questions were more relevant".
