Tango continued to increase its market share and recorded double-digit growth again this quarter, with revenues amounting to €94.8 million, i.e. a 10.1% increase compared with the same period in 2014, according to figures published on Friday.
This growth can also be seen in the customer base, which increased by another 9,000 customers compared with the previous year, and in the ARPU, which shows a 4.4% rise, reaching €29. Its Mobile customer base is now 287,000.
In the third quarter 2015, Tango’s turnover increased by 9.9% year-on-year, generating €32.5 million.
This quarter, growth was driven by the success of all offers, particularly subscriptions that include TV (up 52% in 12 months), Internet, fixed telephony and mobile, along with the offers dedicated to the needs of cross-border workers. Another major explanatory factor for this growth was the sale of smartphone subscriptions, contributing to a 6.4% rise in the ARPU year-on-year, reaching €29.9 in the third quarter.
Jean-François Willame, Tango’s Managing Director, stated "The promising results of the first six months continued in the third quarter, with figures even exceeding our expectations. These results were made possible thanks to the growth in our revenue from mobile telephony and the success of our bundled offers. The end of the year should confirm these figures, with the recent launch of the latest iPhones and our end-of-year offers further bolstering our sales in the fourth quarter".
