Baker McKenzie Luxembourg today announced the expansion of its tax practice with the arrival of Diogo Duarte de Oliveira and a team of five tax lawyers.

Tax partner Diogo Duarte de Oliveira will head the department alongside Antonio Weffer (Transfer Pricing Country Leader) and will be joined at the same time by tax lawyers Olivier dal Farra, Delphine Danhoui, Lionel Ancion, Miguel Pinto de Almeida and Tiphanie Grzeszezak.

Diogo Duarte de Oliveira advises asset managers and a wide range of private and institutional investors on fund raising, management incentive strategies and transactions structuring. He has received acknowledgement from several legal industry guides and is ranked as a leading expert by Chambers Europe. Before joining Baker McKenzie, Diogo Duarte de Oliveira headed the Luxembourg top-ranked tax practice of Stibbe, a prominent Benelux law firm. He is admitted to the Luxembourg Bar and holds an LLM in International Taxation from Leiden University in the Netherlands, a Master's in Tax Law from ISG Business School in Lisbon and a Law Degree from the Portuguese Catholic University.
