On Friday 12 July 2013, the Ville de Luxembourg is organising an Open Day at Place Guillaume II offering the public, from the youngest to the oldest, to experience the programme of the S.d.S Sport-Wochen (Sport-Week) via various workshops.
The workshops and sports represented at the event are offering something for everyone: Surf simulator, beach volleyball, climbing routes, boxing, badminton, table-tennis, street-ball, Martial Arts (Karate, Judo, self-defence, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Aikido, Capoeira) and Dance Arts (Zumba, Fitness Dance, Hip Hop). There is also a zip line from the Casemates to the Abbaye de Neumunster.
The event is held from 11:30 to 19:30 and the entrance is free of charge.
A quiz will include prizes of sporting holiday weeks to Italy, The Netherlands or Lultzhausen in Luxembourg.
