The Luxembourg-based European Business Reliance Centre (EBRC) has announced a digital alliance dedicated to the space sector with 3DS OUTSCALE, CS GROUP and RHEA Group.

This alliance, combining CS GROUP and RHEA Group, two major players in the space data systems Industry with EBRC and 3DS OUTSCALE, two trusted and certified European cloud service providers, will engage in developing new use cases in the space industry guaranteeing the GAIA-X principles: European data protection, openness and transparency, authenticity and trust, European digital sovereignty, modularity and interoperability.

The GAIA-X Digital Space Alliance for Space is open to other European partners.

Announced in June 2020, the GAIA-X project is now taking on a real European scale. On 18 and 19 November 2020, during the GAIA-X SUMMIT, European Commissioner Thierry Breton, Peter Altmaier, Germany's Minister of the Economy and Energy, and Bruno Lemaire, France's Minister of the Economy and Finance, will open the second phase of the project, which aims to build new "use cases" for the benefit of society, in the fields of health, mobility, innovation in the financial sector, energy management, smart cities and industry 4.0.
