The Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL) will hold the autumn edition of its second-hand bazaar for children's used car seats (ACL Kannersëtzbazar) on its premises in Bertrange and Ingeldorf on Saturday 17 October 2026, from 09:00 to 13:00.
Following the spring edition held in June, the ACL Child Car Seat Bazaar will once again offer families an opportunity to purchase second-hand car seats and booster seats for a second vehicle, for grandparents or other relatives, or simply as a more economical option.
During previous editions, nearly 60% of the seats offered for sale found buyers, with prices generally ranging between €50 and €150 for standard models and higher prices for more recent models.
ACL members wishing to sell a seat can drop it off free of charge at ACL in Bertrange (54 Route de Longwy) or Ingeldorf (34 Route d’Ettelbruck) from Monday 12 to Wednesday 14 October 2026, between 09:00 and 17:00. A maximum of 300 seats will be accepted in Bertrange and 50 in Ingeldorf, with a limit of two seats per member.
Only clean seats in good condition and compliant with ECE R44/03, ECE R44/04 or R129 (i-Size) standards will be accepted. Sellers set their own prices, and no commission is charged. An ACL membership card is required, either in physical form or via the MyACL app.
Unsold seats can be collected from Wednesday 21 to Wednesday 28 October 2026 at the original drop-off location.
The ACL advises that payment for purchases is in cash only, with prices fixed by the sellers. ACL staff will be present on site to answer safety-related questions and advise buyers.
