On Monday 29 June 2026, the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced the recall of Liver and Beef Pâté from the Coshida Selection brand and Lamb, Pasta and Vegetable Pâté from the Orlando brand due to the possible presence of plastic-like foreign bodies.

The following products have been recalled: 

⁃ Coshida Selection Liver and Beef Pâté, 450 g, use-by date: 02/04/2028; 03/04/2028

⁃ Orlando Lamb, Pasta and Vegetables in Pâté, 415 g, use-by date: 03/28/2028; 03/29/2028

The pet food products have been on sale in various stores across Luxembourg.

There is currently an orange awareness level alert in place (i.e. medium risk/danger).

ALVA warned that, if ingested, foreign bodies such as plastic pose a risk of suffocation or internal injuries.
