The Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL) has announced that it will organise a new edition of its second-hand bazaar for used child car seats and booster seats (ACL Kannersëtzbazar) on Saturday 6 June 2026 from 09:00 to 13:00 at its premises in Bertrange and Ingeldorf.

According to ACL, the event aims to give used child seats a second life and has become a popular initiative among families looking for an additional seat for a second car, grandparents’ vehicle or a more affordable solution. During previous editions, nearly 60% of the seats offered for sale found buyers, with prices generally ranging between €50 and €150 for standard models.

Seats can be dropped off at ACL in Bertrange (54 Route de Longwy) and Ingeldorf (34 Route d’Ettelbruck) from Wednesday 20 to Wednesday 27 May 2026 between 09:00 and 17:00, or until the maximum number of 300 seats in Bertrange and fifty seats in Ingeldorf is reached. Only clean seats in good condition and compliant with ECE R44/03, ECE R44/04 or R129 (i-Size) standards will be accepted.

At the event, the used seats and booster seats will be sold at the net price, meaning ACL organises the sale free of charge and without commission. The selling price is determined by the owner and only cash payments will be accepted.

The sale is reserved for ACL members, upon presentation of a membership card or the MyACL application, with a maximum of two seats per member. Purchases are open to all visitors.

Unsold seats can be collected between Monday 15 and Friday 26 June 2026 at the original drop-off location.

ACL staff will be present on site to answer safety-related questions and advise buyers.
