On Thursday 11 December 2025, Wolt Luxembourg announced that it has teamed up with two local Christmas tree sellers to offer home delivery of Christmas trees to customers across Luxembourg.
Wolt has partnered with Sapins in Luxembourg-Hamm and Mäin Chrëscht Beemchen in Livange, with the goal of making it easier for households to receive a real Christmas tree without having to transport it themselves.
Deliveries for Sapins orders are free of charge for distances up to 25 km. For Mäin Chrëscht Beemchen, delivery is complimentary up to 5 km, costs €10 for distances between 5 and 15 km and €15 for distances between 15 and 25 km. Available trees range from 100 to 250 cm and tree stands may also be purchased.
According to both sellers, the most popular Christmas tree sizes in Luxembourg are 175 to 200 cm and 200 to 225 cm, with most orders placed during the first week of December, although demand continues until Christmas.
"Our partnership with Wolt is grounded in a straightforward idea: making it easier for people to enjoy a real Christmas tree at home. By selling our carefully chosen trees through the Wolt app, we hope to help more households enjoy a bit of holiday warmth. Choose the tree that suits you and we’ll handle the practical parts - no hassle or heavy lifting. Just a simple way to bring some holiday atmosphere into your home," stated Louis Haas from Sapins.
Working with a network of local shops and partners, the initiative offers a broad selection of other Christmas goods, including toys, pet snacks, Christmas décor, fine wines and gourmet holiday foods, delivered in 30 minutes. Some partners also provide gift-wrapping services. Wolt added that many of its partner grocery stores remain open every day throughout the holiday period, giving customers access to fresh ingredients and essentials. The broader list of deliverable items is visible with real-time stock in the Wolt app from local partner stores.
"We know how busy December can be. Between planning holiday gatherings, decorating the home and sorting gifts, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Our goal is to give people in Luxembourg a moment of peace by handling the shopping and the delivery, so they can focus on what truly matters - spending quality time with loved ones," said Tomás Etcheverry, General Manager of Wolt Luxembourg.
This is the first time Wolt is bringing Christmas tree delivery to Luxembourg. "Based on our experience in Denmark and Norway, we know it's a service customers love," added Tomás Etcheverry.
