Apleona, a provider of integrated facilities management, has announced the launch of its security and surveillance activities in Luxembourg, starting from the beginning of next year.
Apleona HSG Security & Service sàrl is the group's third service in Luxembourg, in addition to facility management and interior fittings. The business was founded in Germany in 1988 and has been active in Luxembourg since 2004.
Apleona has been operating this type of service for many years already in Germany and in the United Kingdom. With more than 20,000 employees in 30 countries, the Group has made a name for itself in facility management on an international level and has decided to add an extra layer of service in the Grand Duchy.
Marc Wagener, Managing Director of Apleona HSG Luxembourg, explained: “Our guarding and surveillance activities are mainly dedicated to companies and relate more specifically to the surveillance of movable and immovable assets. We support a number of sectors such as banks, industrial and retail markets, public and European institutions as well as smaller shops and craftsmen”.
Today, the Luxembourg branches of Apleona HSG Facility Management and Apleona R&M employ more than 60 people and expect to recruit 60 more to meet the needs of this new business entity.
