
On Saturday 29 March 2025, Luxembourg's senior men's XV rugby team will play their third match of the 2024/2025 Europe Trophy season against Sweden.
The match will take place at the Stade de Luxembourg in Luxembourg-Gasperich at 18:00, with head coach James Kent selecting a 22-man squad for the fixture. Compared to their previous away game against the Czech Republic, where the Red Lions suffered a 16-40 defeat, the lineup sees the inclusion of Gael Pujadas, Callum Trees, Stefano Musolino and Guillaume Thevenot.

After three matches, Luxembourg have two points, with one draw and two defeats, placing them at the bottom of the tournament table. Their upcoming opponents, Sweden, currently sit second in the six-team standings, having secured three victories and trailing group leaders Poland by just one point.
“This weekend's game against Sweden will be another great opportunity to challenge ourselves against a strong, well coached team.
