In the latest Rugby World Rankings published by World Rugby this week, Luxembourg has risen three places to 62nd, climbing above Latvia, Botswana and Chinese Taipei.

At the end of last year, Luxembourg recived a special mention in World Rugby's year-end report as it recorded the highest jump in world rankings throughout 2014, rising from 93rd to 76th in just 12 months. The latest rise was just to last week-end's away win to Austria, as part of the European Championships Division 2C.

New Zealand tops the Rugby World Rankings from Autralia, South Africa and Argentina, the four teams in last week-end's Rugby World Cup semi-finals. The top ranked northern hemisphere team is Wales in 5th position.
