The municipality of Kayl has announced that Public Image Ltd (PiL), featuring the punk legend John Lydon (previously known by the stage name “Johnny Rotten”), will perform an exclusive concert at the Schungfabrik cultural centre in Tétange next summer.
The British-born singer, songwriter, author and television personality is widely known as the lead vocalist of the punk rock band the Sex Pistols, which was active from 1975 to 1978. In 1978, John Lydon formed the post-punk band Public Image Ltd (PiL).
The concert will take place on Sunday 7 June 2026 with doors opening at 19:00 and the show starting at 20:00.
Official ticket sales will start at 11:00 on Wednesday 3 December 2025, with tickets priced at €35 in presale and €40 at the box office. Online purchases are available at www.schungfabrik.lu/events/pil.
Pupils and students can benefit from a €5 discount upon presentation of a valid ID by contacting the organisers via email: evenementiel@kayl.lu.
