On Wednesday 15 January 2025, British tribute band Creedence Clearwater Review will perform as part of its Green River Tour at Trifolion in Echternach, at 20:00.
The band promises to “take the audience on a nostalgic journey in a sensational two-hour live show, with authentic outfits, instruments and the true spirit and power of Creedence Clearwater Revival”.
American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival topped the charts around the world, 55 years ago, with its song “Green River”, from which the tribute band’s tour gets its name.
An energetic concert is promised with hits such as "Proud Mary", "Bad Moon Rising", "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" and "Up Around the Band". The four Creedence Clearwater Review musicians will honour John Fogerty who wrote hits such as "Old Man Down the Road" and "Rockin' All Over the World", which subsequently gave Status Quo a worldwide hit.
