On Monday 16 December 2024, Creedence Clearwater Review, a British tribute band to Creedence Clearwater Revival, will take to the stage at the Rockhal Club in Esch-Belval; doors open at 20:00.
The Green River Tour is the name of the two-hour energetic programme, celebrating Creedence Clearwater Revival’s first US #1 album Green River that dominated the charts in 1969. Creedence Clearwater Review stick very closely to the original album in their shows, and classics such as "Proud Mary", "Bad Moon Rising", "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" and "Up Around the Band" can be expected on the night.
In addition, there is a special anniversary feature in the performance paying homage to Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty, who, as lead singer penned all their greatest hits. 2025 marks both the 50th anniversary of his self-titled John Fogerty album and celebrates the 40th anniversary of his biggest solo album Centrefield. Fogerty fans can expect to hear timeless tracks from these albums, such as "Rockin' All Over the World", "Almost Saturday Night" and "Hot Rod Heart".
