On Thursday 16 January 2025, aparthotel company Adagio announced the future opening of its first aparthotel in Luxembourg, at Botanica, Cloche d’Or in Luxembourg-Gasperich.

Developed in partnership with the CODIC Group, a real estate group and developer in Luxembourg, this project will open its doors by 2027. With this leasehold project, Adagio reports it is establishing itself in the heart of business district Cloche d’Or, with the hub, described as already bringing together 520,000 m² of offices and many international companies, expected to bring growth with a planned 50% increase in office space by 2027.

Described as “a sustainable and innovative establishment”, the company added that this new aparthotel will offer 121 apartments with a contemporary design, designed according to the concept of the Adagio Original “Smart House” range, which combines a sleeping area and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition to the common areas and hotel services – fitness area, self-service laundry, etc. – the common and collaborative space “Le Cercle” will offer services such as the library of objects to borrow, the Shop or the Kids corner, and a hybrid space suitable for both work and convivial moments.

The company also revealed that the establishment, which is part of an eco-responsible approach, with equipment promoting biodiversity and sustainable resource management, will be part of the “BOTANICA – Your Office Resort” tertiary project, developed by CODIC. This district is described as combining 53,000 m² of ultra-modern offices, shops, restaurants, a nursery and a landscaped park of more than two hectares, offering a "unique" and "inspiring" living environment, merging workspaces, social life and well-being within a green and sustainable environment. “BOTANICA – Your Office Resort” aims to set new standards for new-generation office real estate, reflecting the contemporary aspirations of workers and companies: making the office a place of meeting, creation and innovation where working rhymes with sharing and well-being.

According to Arthur Jaeger, Chief Development & Real Estate Officer at Adagio: “The signing of our first establishment in Luxembourg is an important milestone for Adagio. It perfectly illustrates our ambition for growth in Europe and will fit perfectly with ‘BOTANICA – Your Office Resort’. We are convinced that this new offer dedicated to medium and long stays will satisfy business and leisure demand by offering our future customers an innovative and environmentally friendly product. We are very proud of this first partnership with CODIC.”

Vincent Beck, CEO CODIC International, added: “We are delighted to welcome the Adagio brand to our ‘BOTANICA – Your Office Resort’  development. We designed BOTANICA as a welcoming and inspiring place where the surrounding nature and living spaces stimulate the creativity and efficiency of organisations. The Adagio offer of 121 keys, unique in Luxembourg, fits perfectly into our concept and will offer a local accommodation service for all BOTANICA users.”
