Luxembourg's national railway company, the CFL, has reported that trains will be disrupted due to a strike in France on Friday 17 October 2025.
Train traffic will be disrupted in both directions between Luxembourg and France. Delays and cancellations are expected on the Luxembourg – Thionville – Metz line (both directions).
According to information received by the SNCF, high-speed (TGV) connections to / from Luxembourg will not be affected.
The CFL invited people wishing to travel to France from Luxembourg (and vice versa) to check their journey via www.cfl.lu or the CFL mobile application.
