Luxembourg's Ministry of Education, Children and Youth has announced that a total of 3,557 pupils are registered for the 2022 secondary school leaving examinations.
The written tests for the final exams for classical and general secondary education will start on Tuesday 17 May 2022.
A total of 3,557 candidates, including 2,009 young women (56.5%) and 1,548 young men (43.5%), are registered for the 2022 summer session.
Registrations for the various end-of-study exams are distributed as follows:
• Classic secondary school leaving exam: 1,600 pupils (876 young women and 724 young men);
• General secondary school leaving exam: 1,936 pupils (1,122 young women and 814 young men);
• 21 evening class students (eleven young women and ten young men) will sit their final exams.
Written, oral and practical tests will be assessed by 1,458 members of 236 examination boards.
Luxembourg's Minister of Education, Children and Youth, Claude Meisch, has conveyed his best wishes for a lot of success to all the candidates for these exams.
