Luxembourg's Ministry of State and the Directorate of Defence have announced that Swiss President Viola Amherd will meet with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden next week.
On the sidelines of the 20th summit of the heads of state of the six German-speaking countries, which is taking place this year in Luxembourg, the President of the Swiss Confederation, Viola Amherd, will have a bilateral meeting on Tuesday 17 September, following the summit, with Prime Minister Luc Frieden.
On Monday 16 September, ahead of the summit, the Swiss President, in her capacity as Head of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport, will have a meeting with Luxembourg's Minister of Defence, Yuriko Backes, to sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of military training.
