Luxembourg's Ministry of State has announced that the new Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, will pay a working visit to the Grand Duchy on Monday 15 July 2024, at the invitation of Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden.

The two heads of government, who have already met on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Washington, DC (US) this week, will have a bilateral meeting at the Hôtel Saint-Maximin (Luxembourg's Ministry of State). The discussions are set to mainly focus on relations between Luxembourg and the Netherlands, as well as the main current European political issues.

In view of the close relations between the Benelux countries, this working visit by the Dutch Prime Minister to Luxembourg is among the first visits abroad by the head of government. It will follow a visit by Prime Minister Schoof to his Belgian counterpart, Alexander de Croo, earlier in the day.
