The Strasbourg-based Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has announced that its President Theodoros Rousopoulos will pay a working visit to Luxembourg on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 June 2024.

During his visit, the PACE President will meet the President of the Chamber of Deputies (parliament), Claude Wiseler, and Luxembourg's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Xavier Bettel, as well as members of the executive committee and of the parliamentary committee on foreign and European affairs, foreign aid, foreign trade and the Greater Region. Theodoros Rousopoulos is also set to be received in audience by Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg.

On 6 June, Mr Rousopoulos will deliver an opening address at a conference entitled "The Luxembourg solutions", jointly organised by the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons and the Luxembourg parliament, which will focus on the role of national parliaments in addressing the challenges faced by Belarusians in exile.
