Another round of swearing-in ceremonies for Luxembourg's newly appointed mayors and aldermen/alderwomen took place on Wednesday 5 July 2023.

On Wednesday, Luxembourg's Minister for Home Affairs, Taina Bofferding, swore in the colleges of mayors and aldermen/alderwomen of the municipalities of Bissen, Biwer, Consdorf, Frisange, Lorentzweiler, Niederanven, Putscheid, Remich, Schengen, Schieren, Useldange and Waldbillig.

At 10:00, twelve mayors and 24 aldermen/alderwomen took the new oath prescribed by Article 6 of the amended municipal law of 13 December 1988 in front of Minister Bofferding: "I swear to observe the Constitution and the laws and to fulfil my function with integrity, exactitude and impartiality."

Bissen: David Viaggi, mayor; Roger Saurfeld, alderman; Cindy Barros Dinis, alderwoman.

Biwer: Marc Lentz, mayor; Sylvie Steinmetz, alderwoman; Martine Birkel, alderwoman.
