Luxembourg's Ministry of State, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Directorate for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, Directorate for Defence and Ministry for the Economy has announced that the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Eminé Dzhaparova, will pay a working visit to Luxembourg from Thursday 2 to Friday 3 June 2022.

Minister Dzhaparova will be welcomed by the Prime Minister, Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, at the Hotel Saint-Maximin for a meeting.

During the working visit, Minister Dzhaparova will participate in a public session in the Chamber of Deputies (Luxembourg's Parliament) which will be opened and closed by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Fernand Etgen. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will speak there on Thursday 2 June 2022 live by videoconference. His speech will be followed by the speech of the Prime Minister, Minister of State, Xavier Bettel.

The programme will also include meetings and working meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister, Defence Minister, François Bausch, the Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, as well as with the Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, Minister of the Economy, Franz Fayot. The exchanges will notably make it possible to address the situation in Ukraine and to discuss the major international challenges related to this subject.
