On Thursday 21 October 2021, Sammy Wagner was sworn in to the position of mayor of the municipality of Steinfort; in addition, Marianne Dublin-Felten was appointed sworn in as alderman of the municipality of Steinfort.
Both new appointees took the oath in the presence of Luxembourg's Minister of the Interior, Taina Bofferding, with the following words " I swear loyalty to the Grand Duke, to observe the Constitution and the laws of the country, and to fulfil with zeal, accuracy, integrity and impartiality the functions entrusted to me."
