The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will pay a working visit to Luxembourg this Friday 18 June 2021.

During her visit, the Commission President will meet His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg. She will then meet with Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and the Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegan at Betzdorf Castle, the headquarters of the SES satellite company.

This working is part of the approval by the Commission of the national recovery and resilience plans of European Union (EU) member states.

A particular focus of the visit will be on digitalisation and digital projects, one of the key pillars of the Luxembourg recovery and resilience plan.
