Jeff Feller, new Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister;

On Friday 21 May 2021, Luxembourg's Prime Minister and Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, informed staff at the Ministry of State of an internal reorganisation.

Paul Konsbruck, currently Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister, has decided to embark on a new professional challenge outside the civil service. He will be leaving the ministry of state in the coming months. “Mr. Konsbruck has been involved in the service of the state for more than seven years. Together with the whole team, I thank him for his commitment throughout this period and I wish him every success in his new role," said the Prime Minister.

As chief of staff, the Prime Minister has decided to appoint Jeff Feller, a lawyer and political scientist by training and currently parliamentary secretary of the liberal parliamentary group (the DP party). Prime Minister Bettel stated that he is delighted that Jeff Feller has agreed to join the Ministry of State: “I have no doubts that Jeff Feller has all the skills required. He knows the inner workings of institutions perfectly, he has extensive experience in project management and I particularly appreciate his spirit of initiative and teamwork."

The change in the head of the state ministry will take effect on 1 September 2021.
