Michel Barnier, the European Commission's Head of Task Force for Relations with the United Kingdom, will be undertaking a working visit to Luxembourg on Monday 10 February 2020.

On the occasion of his visit, Michel Barnier will meet with Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, as well as Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn. Discussions will focus on an in-depth exchange on the future relationship between the European Union and the United Kingdom.

In addition, Michel Barnier will meet with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fernand Etgen, and the President of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Yves Cruchten. He will then have an exchange of views with members of the parliamentary Bureau, the Conference of Presidents and the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs.
