On Wednesday 4 February 2026, the Luxembourg Olympic and Sports Committee (COSL) announced that alpine skier Matthieu Osch has been named flag bearer for Team Lëtzebuerg at the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games will take place on Friday 6 February 2026.
26-year-old Matthieu Osch will be competing in his third Winter Olympic Games, having previously represented Luxembourg at PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022.
Together with 20-year-old Gwyneth Ten Raa, who will be competing in her second Olympic Games, Osch will represent Luxembourg in the slalom and giant slalom events at Milano Cortina 2026.
