The Luxembourgish-Colombian salsa singer and multi-instrumentalist Alberto Caicedo announced the release of his new album “Horizontes”, which will be presented in a concert at the Trifolion in Echternach on Thursday 20 November 2025

The new album “Horizontes” by Alberto Caicedo features ten tracks, opening with “La Tierra de la Belleza”, described as “an act of gratitude - the sound of a man looking back at his origins with tenderness rather than nostalgia.”

Other songs include “Salsa en Pata Pata”, “Traigo Alegría”, “Ahí Estaré”, “La Luna Fue Testigo”, “Hasta Que Amanezca”, “El Amor No Entiende”, “Champs Élysées”, “Un Poquito de Amor (Remix)” and “Reloj”, which closes the album.

According to the artist, Horizontes combines Afro-Pacific percussion, salsa brass, Latin-jazz harmony and European lyricism, forming “an unmistakable voice - one that looks toward tomorrow without letting go of yesterday.”

Recorded at AC Studios in Luxembourg and mixed by Daniel Hahnfeld, “Horizontes” brings together musicians from eight countries, including Norman Peplow (piano), Pablo Martínez (trombone), Anays Jiménez (vocals), Javier Betancourt (bass), Jim López and Jérôme Goldschmidt (percussion), Ernie Hammes (trumpet) and Alberto Medina (saxophones), all under Caicedo’s direction.
