On Monday 21 October 2024, Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture launched a call for projects from professional creative companies in the field of music to support the development of entrepreneurship in music.

The ministry is launching this call for projects as part of the improvement of working conditions for artists and creators referred to in Recommendation No. 18 of the "Kulturentwécklungsplang" (Cultural Developmental Plan) 2018-2028.

This call for projects is particularly aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that regularly produce quality music, accessible to a large audience, and requiring specific support for their cultural activities.

In recent years, creative entrepreneurship in the field of music has grown considerably in Luxembourg. The music sector now has a growing number of support professionals (agents, managers, bookers, producers) essential to the career development of Luxembourg artists.

The purpose of this specific and unique assistance is to support these professions in the development of their activities, both at national and international levels. It aims to strengthen the activity of professional companies in the music sector, which are necessary for the development of a music industry in Luxembourg.
