Swedish heavy metal sextet Ghost will be in the Grand Duchy on Wedenesday 18 November 2015 to bring corpse-painted, Satanic-inspired musical drama to the Atelier.
Ghost are not a blink-and-you'd-miss-them type of band, with five of the six members of the group, or the 'Nameless Ghouls', clad in black hooded gowns and pointed beard-masks whilst frontman Papa Emeritus III dons full skull make-up and the hat of a Roman Catholic pope.
The theatricality of their live shows is not to be missed, with the Satan-worshipping act contrasted by the liveliness of catchy songs such as 'Monstrance Clock' and a cover of 'Here Comes the Sun' by the Beatles. Album 'Infestissumam', released in 2013, debuted at number 1 in Sweden and earned the band the country's Grammis Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album.
Doors open at 20:00. To purchase tickets, which cost €28, visit http://www.atelier.lu/Upcoming-Shows/Ghost
