The duo from Seattle, Washington have emerged as a premier hip-hop group following years of intensifying momentum and dedicated support from a devoted fan base.
Ben Haggerty aka Macklemore and record producer and DJ Ryan Lewis won 'Best New Artist', 'Best Rap Album', 'Best Rap Song' and 'Best Rap Performance' at the 2014 Grammy Awards alone with album 'The Heist' and single 'Thrift Shop'. The latter exploded onto the music scene, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and dubbed the first song since 1994 to top the Chart without the support of a major record label as the duo had broken new ground by independently releasing their debut full-length album, 'The Heist'.
Following their set at Rock-A-Field 2013, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be bringing their electrifying live show and expertly crafted music once again to Luxembourg, complete with new single 'Downtown'.
