VdL Announces Tree Felling Works on Rue de Neudorf

On Thursday 5 February 2026, the City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) announced that rue de Neudorf will be closed due to tree felling works, which will take place on Saturdays 7 and 14 February 2026 from 07:00 to 17:00, in front of the building located at 577 Rue de Neudorf.

According to the VdL, the works will require the closure of rue de Neudorf between rue Kalchesbruck and the N1 for the duration of the works. Appropriate signage will be put in place by the City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department.

With regard to public transport, the following changes will be implemented:

• Bus lines 7 and 9 will be diverted via Rue de Trêves;
• In the direction of Cents, the stop Kalchesbruck Quai 1 will not be served and will be replaced by the stop Reno Quai 2;
• In the direction of Neudorf, the stop Kalchesbruck Quai 2 will not be served and will be replaced by the stop Reno Quai 1.
