On Thursday 4 December 2025, the City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) announced that roadworks will take place on Avenue de la Liberté in Luxembourg-Gare each night from Monday 8 to Friday 12 December 2025.
According to the VdL, these works take place each night between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 and will involve a complete closure of traffic on the specified section for the duration of the work.
Traffic will be diverted via Rue Jean Origer and Rue de Bonnevoie towards the Rocade de Bonnevoie (B3) and the Pénétrante Sud.
The VdL noted that its traffic service will ensure that appropriate signage is put in place and that the diversion route is clearly marked.
