VdL Announces 2-Week Closure of Rue N S Pierret for Roadworks

The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced that as part of infrastructure works, connection works will be carried out at the junction of Rue N S Pierret and Avenue Pasteur from Monday 10 November 2025, at 05:00 until Monday 24 November 2025 at 05:00.

As a result of these works, the following traffic adjustments will be in place:

• Rue N S Pierret will be closed to traffic

• Avenue Pasteur will be closed to traffic between Rue Ermesinde and Rue Evrard Ketten (except for access to the Tramsschapp car park)

• Access to the Tramsschapp car park will be via Avenue de la Faïencerie, Rue Ermesinde and Avenue Pasteur

The City of Luxembourg’s Traffic Department will ensure that appropriate road signage is installed.

In addition, the following changes will apply to municipal bus line 19:

• Between the Léandre Lacroix and Theater stops, the route will be diverted via Avenue Victor Hugo

• The N S Pierret, Alfred de Musset and Allée Scheffer stops will be cancelled and replaced by the Alen Tramsschapp quai 2 and Lycée de Garçons quai 2 stops
