The Grand Ducal Police have launched an appeal for witnesses in relation to an accident that took place in a car park in Capellen on Friday 29 March 2024.
According to the police, the accident occurred at around 11:05 in the car park of a supermarket on Route d'Arlon in Capellen. An elderly woman was hit and injured by a grey Mercedes SUV before the driver fled the scene.
The driver is described as an older man of "corpulent" build and with a limp. He is said to be between 1.7 and 1.8 metres tall.

Update: Article updated after police clarified the vehicle in question was grey not red; they also later added a more precise description of the suspect.
