The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a car crash on the N7 on Thursday 7 December 2023 left two motorists seriously injured.
Two vehicles collided on the N7 between Mersch and Roost at around 18:30 on Thursday. According to initial findings, a driver crossed into the oncoming lane before crashing into an oncoming vehicle, which was then thrown against a tree.
The two drivers were seriously injured and were taken to hospital after receiving emergency medical treatment on-site. The police added that one of the drivers suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police forensics were on-site following the accident. The road was closed to traffic until shortly before midnight.
