CAR Avenue Takes Over Grand Garage de Luxembourg

Under the chairmanship of Stéphane BAILLY, the CAR Avenue Group has continued its growth in Luxembourg with the takeover on 1 January 2021 of the Grand Garage de Luxembourg from Inchcape Retail Belux.

With this acquisition, the CAR Avenue Group is entering a new relationship with the second largest manufacturer in the world. This takeover of the Toyota and Lexus dealerships in Bertrange will enable CAR Avenue to become the main Toyota distributor (around 800 new vehicles annually) and exclusive Lexus distributor in the Grand Duchy (around 125 new vehicles annually). The common objective is to give new impetus to the distribution of the Toyota and Lexus brands in Luxembourg, by relying on the local roots of the CAR Avenue Group.

The 28th largest European Automotive Distribution group, CAR Avenue is strengthening its presence in Luxembourg where it has distributed the Nissan and Toyota brands since 2010, and also the Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Kia brands since 2018.

The adventure that began 10 years ago in Luxembourg has allowed the CAR Avenue family to continue to grow. 

The 31 employees of the Grand Garage de Luxembourg will continue to be employed by their new owners.
