Luxembourg's National Roads Administration has announced that works related to the renewal of the wearing course on the A13 motorway will be undertaken from Friday 11 to Monday 14 September 2020.
From 21:00 on 11 September until 06:00 on 14 September, the A13 between the Esch-sur-Alzette junction and the Croix de Bettembourg towards the A3 (Metz, Luxembourg-Ville) and A13 (Schengen) motorways will be closed to traffic.
For the duration of these works, the following access roads will also be closed: those for the Schifflange, Kayl, Burange and Foetz interchanges from the secondary network and towards the Croix de Bettembourg on the A13; and those to the Esch-sur-Alzette junction from the A4 and towards the Croix de Bettembourg from the A13.
Traffic coming from the A4 (Raemerich roundabout) and the A13 (Pétange) and towards the Croix de Bettembourg from the A13 will be diverted via A4 - Croix de Cessange - A6 - Croix de Gasperich - A3 to the Croix de Bettembourg.
Traffic coming from the CR165 (Kayl) and towards the Croix de Bettembourg from the A13 will be diverted via the CR165 (Noertzange), the CR164 (Huncherange) and the N13 (Bettembourg) to the Hellange interchange.
Traffic coming from the N31 (Dudelange) and in the direction of Croix de Bettembourg will be diverted via the CR161 (Krakelshaff industrial zone) and the N13 to the Hellange interchange.
Preparatory work relating to the closure of the access roads will begin on Friday 11 September 2020 at around 20:00.
