Luxembourg's Ministry of Health has published a review of the week of 10 to 16 April 2023 in relation to acute respiratory infections, namely COVID-19 and influenza (flu).
COVID-19
For the week in question, the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 decreased to 217 cases, down 27.2% from 298 cases the previous week. 46.1% of COVID-19 cases were reinfections (down from 50.7% the week before).
Flu
For the week of 10 to 16 April, the number of flu cases reported by laboratories decreased from 182 to 93 cases, i.e. drop of 48.9% compared to the previous week. Influenza B remained predominant.
